What can a flatbed UV printer print

What can a flatbed UV printer print? Flatbed UV printing materials are extensive, including flexible media such as PVC, canvas, reflective film, leather, and plastic bags; rigid media such as acrylic boards, foam boards, corrugated cardboard, plexiglass boards, door panels, glass, tiles, metals, ceilings, aluminum boards, and wooden boards.

UV printing mainly includes three aspects, namely ink, curing principle, and printing.

Ink: Different from the previous water-based ink, textile ink, oil-based ink, and solvent-based ink, the new generation of equipment uses uv ink. The uv ink itself is between solvent-based and oil-based inks. It is a chemical ink with slight corrosiveness, so in daily use, it should be avoided as much as possible from contact with the body. What needs to be understood here is that uv ink is divided into three grades, one is domestically produced, one is produced by the original nozzle factory, and one is imported.

Curing principle: The curing method adopts the internal cooling curing principle in a very short time without generating odor, heat, bubbles, etc. This is mainly determined by the photosensitizer present in the uv ink.

Printing: Direct piezoelectric inkjet printing, the nozzle is between 12.5px and 25px above the material, and inkjet printing is performed. The UV ink is directly sprayed on the surface of the material, and then irradiated by the LED lights on both sides of the nozzle to achieve ink drying.
